Michael Louis Kennedy is an independent artist, producer, curator and playwright based in Sydney, Australia. His work has been presented at the Old Fitz, Sydney; Melbourne Fringe; Shoreditch House, London; the National Theatre River Stage, London; Sydney Fringe; Pleasance, Edinburgh Fringe; Seven Dials Theatre, London; The Blue Room, Perth; The Glory, London; Bondi Festival; and NIDA, Sydney.

He has previously worked for Sydney WorldPride, Performing Lines, National Young Writers Festival, Sydney Fringe, Summerhall (Edinburgh Fringe) and Belvoir Street Theatre. His work has been featured in Overland, Voiceworks, Brag, Going Down Swinging, Transportation Press, Baby Teeth, and more. He was the recipient of the 2023 Junior Foundation Commission with Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), and was a member of Sydney Theatre Company’s Emerging Writers Group from 2021-2023.
